Feeling Lazy or Tired?

While I was running a few days ago, I got to thinking about momentum and the difference between being lazy and being tired.
My legs felt like they were tired, but then I realized that I had loads of energy and my legs weren’t tired, they were merely being lazy.
This got me to thinking about how to make them stop being lazy.
I started to play around with how I was running and I noticed two things.
The first was that when I slowed down the pace I was running at, my legs started to feel heavier and wanted to slow down even more, it got to a point where I was slowing down exponentially.
The second was that when I gradually started to push myself to run faster, my legs built momentum and the felt lighter. As a result, I kept running faster, I dipped into my energy reserves and was able to go much further with every stride.
So this told me that if I built on what I was doing rather than relaxing, I get more momentum and I go exponentially further, but…
(I’m going back to my previous post a little with this)
It still didn’t answer my question: “How do I stop my legs from being lazy?”
Well, when I think about it, I’d defined that my legs weren’t tired, they were being lazy. Therefore I’d made myself AWARE of the situation and then just added the initial impetus and used that impetus to build momentum from there.
What I’m wondering now though in terms of Inspiration is “Since Awareness and Questioning are so close together in their nature, both having the qualities of inquiry, which comes first in the quest for inspiration?”
Or is it something else?

The above videos explain that our body and mind are indeed connected.

Hi Sam
I certainly agree with what is said in the video, but for so many people, it’s getting that initial stimulus which is so hard and the mind and body together to make you not want to move. I’m sure you’ve heard it said: “I’m unhappy because I’m fat and I’m fat because I eat when I’m unhappy.”
If only it were possible to think yourself thin and healthy, but no matter what we’ll always have to put in the physical effort.
I hope you’re doing well
